Hayley Kiyoko - Girls Like Girls Hayley Kiyoko is a Japanese-American actress, singer and songwriter. "Girls Like Girls" is a lesbian love song, taken from her second EP "This Side of Paradise". The music video, which shows a teenage lesbian love story, has been viewed more than 21,3 millions times at the end of the year 2015 and has almost 490.000 likes.


Joey Graceffa - Don't Wait Joey Graceffa is a famous YouTuber, who officially came out as gay with this music video, where he mets his Prince Charming (played by his boyfriend Daniel Christopher) and finally kisses him. He confirmed his coming-out a few days after with an official coming-out video. The music video has 16 millions views and 650.000 likes on YouTube at the end of the year 2015.


Jussie Smollett - Beautiful (‘Empire’ OST) Jussie Smollett is a 32 years old American singer and actor. He became famous this year for his role of Jamal Lyon, the gay son of a hip-hop record company in TV series "Empire", one of the most successful new show on American TV this year. His character received universal critical acclaim. Kelley L. Carter from BuzzFeed declared that "Being Gay and Black on TV will never be the same." For this role, he song several songs, all published on the official channel of "Empire" on YouTube. As his character with the song "You're So Beautiful" in the episode "The Lyon's Roar" from season 1, Jussie came out publicly as gay on the set of "Ellen". A star is born, both in "Empire" and in the real word. The music video has 13,4 millions views and 110.000 likes on YouTube at the end of the year 2015.


Scotty Dynamo - Show Me Yours Scotty Dynamo is a 21 years old DJ from Toronto, Canada. He made his official coming out this year with this music video, where he kissed a man. The music video has 140.000 views and 2.400 likes on YouTube at the end of the year 2015.


Trevor Moran - I Wanna Fly Trevor Moran is a famous YouTuber, who officially came out as gay with this music video, where he must fight against society whom tries to change him. He confirmed his coming-out a few days after with an official coming-out video. The music video has 1,3 million views and 66.000 likes on YouTube at the end of the year 2015.


Troye Sivan - Wild / Fools / Talk Me Dow (Blue Neighbourhood Trilogy) Troye Sivan is a 20 years old famous YouTuber, actor and singer. After the success of his single "Happy Little Pill" last year, the openly gay Australian released in 2015 his first album "Blue Neighbourhood". To promote his album, he released at first the "Wild" EP, and a "Blue Neighbourhood" trilogy of music videos which tell the complicated love story of two young men who must face homophobia. "Wild" (Blue Neighbourhood Trilogy Part 1/3) shows the childhood of the two lovers, "Fools" (Blue Neighbourhood Trilogy Part 2/3) shows the breakup of the young couple because of the homophobic father of one of them, and "Talk Me Down" (Blue Neighbourhood Trilogy Part 3/3) shows their future after the death of one of the characters of the trilogy. The mediatization in gay medias of his music videos was worldwide. With no doubt, Troye Sivan is one of the new rising artist of the year. All three music videos together have 26 millions of views and 840.000 likes at the end of the year 2015.

Openly gay, he released in 2015 his equality anthem with "This is Who We Are", one month after marriage equailty in the USA became legal. The music video, where he marries a man, has 130.000 views and 880 likes on YouTube at the end of the year 2015.


Garfunkel And Oates - Rainbow Connections Garfunkel and Oates is an American comedy–folk duo from Los Angeles, California, consisting of actress–songwriters Riki Lindhome (Garfunkel) and Kate Micucci (Oates). They made this equality anthem one month before marriage equality was legal in the USA. The music video is a cartoon which show a gay couple falling in love and marry. It has 270.000 views and 9.700 likes on YouTube at the end of the year 2015.


Hermitage Green - Jenny Hermitage Green is an Irish acoustic folk rock band, who released this track to support the YES position in the Irish referendum about marriage equality. The music depicts the story of two women who were confronted suicide attempt and reject of parents because of homophobia in the past, but now are happy while they marry together. The music video has 110.000 views and 930 likes on YouTube at the end of the year 2015.


HUSH - Same [同一個答案] Hush is a Taiwanese openly gay singer, and he shows in his music video « Same » a gay marriage proposal. With this music video, the artist supports marriage equality, which was on debate in this country with the recent general elections. Released in December, the MV has 500.000 views and 5.000 likes at the end of the year 2015.


Jennifer Hudson - I Still Love You Three weeks before the recognition of same sex marriages in the USA, the American singer released this equality anthem to support marriage equality. The music video presents a gay couple preparing their wedding, but one of them doesn't know if his father, who rejected him in the past because of his homosexuality, will finally come. And the answer is yes ! Jennifer Hudson has performed this song in front of a real married gay couple during a wedding : a another way to show her support for the LGBT community. The music video has 2,8 millions views and 28.500 likes at the end of the year 2015 on YouTube. 


Jessica Sutta feat. Rico Love - Let It Be Love This is the lead single of the album « Feline Resurrection ». The music video of the ex-member of the Pussycat Dolls is celebrating all kind of love and supports marriage equality with a lesbian wedding of two women who were friends when they were kids. The music video has 100.000 views and 1.100 likes at the end of the year 2015. The single reached number 6 in the Billboard Dance Chart.


Nasrin Kadri - Second Round / בסיבוב השני - נסרין קדרי Israeli Arab singer supports marriage equality in this music video, which shows a gay Arab couple, and where a father finally accepts his gay son and his partner. The music video has 55.000 views and 260 likes at the end of the year 2015 on YouTube.


Randy Rainbow - The KIM DAVIS Cell Block Tango This fierce but accurate parody gives a point of view about Kim Davis, an American citizen who was in jail for refusing giving licence marriage for gay people. Hilarious are hilarious. The music video has 290.000 views and 5.500 likes at the end of the year 2015 on YouTube.


Ricky Martin - Disparo al Corazón Ricky martin is a famous Puerto Rican gay singer. He debuted his career in the boyband Menudo, and became famous worldwide with his solo career in the Nineties. He only made his coming out only in 2010, and became since a star mediatized in gay medias worldwide. After "The Best Thing About Me Is You" in 2010, it's the second time Ricky Martin shows homosexuality in one of his music video : indeed, we can see a married gay couple. It was a way for the international star to support LGBT rights and equality in a year where the question of same sex marriages was so important in the USA. The music video has 10,1 millions views and 44.000 likes on YouTube at the end of the year 2015. 


Sam Smith - Lay Me Down Sam Smith is a 23 years old British openly gay singer who made his coming out last year. His first album "In the Lonely Hour" is a huge success, with 8,5 millions copies sold worldwide. He became since last year the LGBT artist most mediatized in gay medias worldwide. Everything he says or does (his love relationships, his opinion about LGBT rights, his pictures on Instagram, his lose of weight, his musical actuality like with his music video "Lay Me Down" about marriage equality, or his second collaboration with Disclosure with the single "Omen" ...) is reported from Europe to Russia, from the USA to China. That’s why this music video is so important, because his large audience saw his support for LGBT rights and marriage equality, while the music video presents a gay wedding in a church. The music video has 129 millions views and almost 790.000 likes on YouTube at the end of the year 2015.


Trevor Moore - Gays Got Married Trevor Moore is a comedian who released an album called "High in Church" which spoofs society. "Gays got married" is a brilliant example of this album : the lyric tells the story of man afraid of legalization of same-sex marriage, and thinks it will the cause of the destruction of his straight couple and his country, because of a nuclear war ! So funny and so refreshing. The video, produced by Comedy Central, has almost 650.000 views and 6.000 likes on YouTube at the end of the year 2015.


Video - Ktos Nowy This Polish music video takes place in a gay wedding, in a country where marriage equality doesn’t exist yet. The music video has 6,3 millions views and almost 25.000 likes on YouTube at the end of the year 2015.

Adam Lambert Adam Lambert is an American singer who became famous with his participation on American idol in 2009, even if only came second in the competition. Since, he has gained a worldwide popularity. He released this year his third album "The Original High" which reached number 3 at US Billboard 200 and in the top 5 in several countries in the world. "Another Lonely night" were the singles released this year. "Ghost Town" was a hit in Europe, Oceania, but less in North America. It also spent the most of weeks in our Gay Music Chart, often in the Top 5.


Christine and The Queens Christine is a French queer artist, who won several awards in France in 2015 for Best Female Artist, Best Music Video, and Best Song Writer. She released at the end of the year 2014 her first album "Chaleur humaine", which had a huge success in France and Belgium where it reached number 1. She's actually promoted her US version of her album, with TV appearances (like in the Daily Show), concerts, and collaboration with queer artist Perfume Genius for the single "Jonathan".


Conchita Wurst Conchita Wurst is one of the most famous drag queen in the world, since her victory at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with the mythic song "Rise Like a Phoenix". With her victory, the Austrian bearded drag queen won also a large mediatization and a strong fan base worldwide. She became an icon : even Miss Austria dressed like her in her national costume at Miss Universe 2015 ! She performed worldwide, met famous people like Ban Ki-moon to talk about LGBT rights, won three Amadeus Austrian Music Awards in her country, released her first album "Conchita" which became platinum in Austria, and released a biography... What a year ! "Heroes" is her second single taken from her first album "Conchita".


Courtney Barnett Courtney Barnett is an Australian openly lesbian singer from Melbourne. She was nominated in eight categories at the ARIA Music Awards of 2015, and won four trophies: Breakthrough Artist, Best Female Artist, Best Independent Release and Best Cover Art for her first album "Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit". This album reached number 4 in Australia and number 20 in the US.


Hayley Kiyoko Hayley Kiyoko is a Japanese-American actress, singer and songwriter. She released her second EP "This Side of Paradise", and promoted it with two music videos, at first "Girls Like Girls", then "Cliffs Edge", which depict lesbian love stories. Both made a huge buzz on lesbian medias worldwide, with respectively 21,3 millions and 4,6 millions views on YouTube.


Miley Cyrus
For several reasons, 2015 was the year when Miley became a LGBTQ icon. At first, she founded The Happy Hippie Foundation, a nonprofit organization strives to help homeless and LGBT youth. To promote her foundation, she made several live backyard sessions with differents artists like Ariana Grande (for "Don't Dream it's Over") or Joan Jett (for "Different" or "Androgynous") for examples. Secondly, she came out publicly as genderfluid, having said that she "[doesn't] relate to being boy or girl, and I don't have to have my partner relate to boy or girl." And finally, she made a really queer presentation of the MTV Music Awards 2015, especially with her performance of “Dooo It!” with 30 drag queens on stage !


Sam Smith
Sam Smith is a 23 years old British openly gay singer who made his coming out last year. His first album "In the Lonely Hour" is a huge success, with 8,5 millions copies sold worldwide. In 2015, he won 4 Grammy Awards, 2 Brit Awards, and in the beginning of 2016 a Golden Globe. He became since last year the LGBT artist most mediatized in gay medias worldwide. Everything he says or does (his love relationships, his opinion about LGBT rights, his pictures on Instagram, his lose of weight, his musical actuality like with his music video "Lay Me Down" about marriage equality, or his second collaboration with Disclosure with the single "Omen", or his James Bond’s song for "Spectre", a premiere for a gay artist in this franchise) is reported from Europe to Russia, from the USA to China.


Steve Grand
It took a long time to the openly gay independent artist to release his first album "All American Boy", but the mediatization was huge worldwide in gay medias, and the success important for an independent artist, with 10.000 copies sold, a 47th position in Billboard 200 albums chart, and a third position in Billboard US Independent Albums Chart.

Years & Years Years and Years is a British band composed by openly gay singer, and musicians Emre Turkmen and Michael Goldsworthy. The huge success of their single "King" (number 1 in UK and in the top 10 of several countries in the world) and their first album "Communion" (number 1 in UK and in the top 10 in several European and oceanian countries) made the lead singer a gay icon, with gay medias in the world report his private life (especially his love relationship with Clean Bandit's violinist Neil Milan Amin-Smith from October 2014 to October 2015) and his opinions (he supported the Yes side of the Irish gay marriage referendum).

After a promising debut with his first EP in 2014, he finally released this year the music video of "Insight", the lead single of this EP, where we can' t discover his queer influences. Then he released his first album "#1" and his second music video "Ah! Dor!", where is body is deconstructed and reorganised.


Josef Salvat
Josef Salvat is an openly bisexual Australian singer, revealed by the cover of Rihanna's song "Diamonds" which was a big success in France in 2014. He released in 2015 his first album "NightSwim", with two lead singles : "Hustler" with a music video about bisexuality, and "Open Season" which had a pretty success in France and Belgium, and of course in our Gay Music Chart.

Mark Feehily Markus Feehily is an Irish singer, famous for being one of the lead singers of the boyband Westlife from 1998 to 2012 with his incredible voice. He's openly gay since 2005. It took him three years after the split of Boyzone to release "Fire", his first solo album, included the singles "Love is a Drug" and "Butterfly". "Fire" reached at number 2 in the Irish chart, and 25 in the UK.


Panthyr
Panthyr, aka Jamie Treadwell, is an American queer artist formerly known as James Panther. He released this year his first single "Desirable" which has been quicly noticed by gay medias. The lyrics critics the quest of body's perfection conveyed by medias, which at first can be toxic with your relationship with yourself, and which at second can exclude those who don't or can't reach this ideal, unfortunately present in the LGBTQ communities because of the medias, but also toxic with your own.


Parson James Parson James is a American singer. His debut career is already successful with the collaboration with Kigo for the clubs song "Stole the show" which was a huge hit in Europe. He also made a collaboration for another track for the club with Audien for the clubs single "Insomnia". "Sinner Like You" is his debut single in solo, and has been already noticed in the Gay Music Chart, even if it hasn't any music video. That's because of its powerful lyrics : it talks about a man who makes his coming out to his parents. Too bad there isn’t a music video yet for this song.


Ryan Amador It's been since 2011 that Ryan Amador, a singer from Los Angeles, uploads music videos. It's in that his single "Define Me" has been noticed with good reviews on several American gay medias. But it's in the year 2015 that his popularity raised in our Gay Music Chart, with his tracks "Stained" and most of all "Spectrum", where he defends all kinds of sexuality. He has just raised funds to publish his first album "(In)Body".


Shamir
Shamir Bailey is a 21 years old gay singer from Las Vegas. After a first EP with positive reviwes in 2014, Shamir released the music video "Call It Off" (2,5 millions views) as part of the 2015 YouTube Music Awards, with puppetts. He released then his first album "Ratchet", with other singles "Darker" and "In For The Kill".


Who Is Fancy Jake Hagood, 24 years old, is an American singer, better known as Who Is Fancy. He released this year his first single "Goodbye", which reached number 98 in Billboard chart in the US. Three music videos were released, with the same script, but with three different characters, including a queer one. At this time, his identity was a mystery for a lot of people because his face didn't appeared in the media or his music video. A part of the mystery was in part revealed with his his second music video, "Boys Like You", where he appears in cartoon with Meghan Trainor and Ariana Grande. We could finally see his face during his live performances top promote this single.


Zolita
Zolita is a 20 years old American openly lesbian singer, who released this year her first EP called "Immaculate Conception", and her first single "Explosion". The sensual music video, which shows two women in love, has 2,7 millions views at the end of the year 2015.

The nominees are : 

A-Mei 張惠妹 – Rainbow 彩虹 (Live Taipei Arena 2015) In April 2015, the Taiwanese gay icon made a concert at Taipei Arena. While she sang her gay hymn "Rainbow 彩虹", the public rolled out a huge rainbow flag. The applause where huge too when the screens showed a gay kiss under the rainbow flag.


Christine & The Queens – Christine (Live Victoires de la Musique 2015) Christine is a French queer artist who released at the end of the year 2014 her first album "Chaleur humaine", which had a huge success in France and Belgium where it reached number 1. She's actually promoted her US version of her album, with TV appearances (like in the Daily Show), concerts, and collaboration with queer artist Perfume Genius for the single "Jonathan". "Christine" is the most successful single taken from this album. It reached number 1 in Belgium and number 3 in France. The choreographed music video, where some people compare her to Michael Jackson for her moves, has 20,5 millions views and 73.000 likes on YouTube at the end of the year 2015. This live was performed at French Awards ceremony "Les victoires de la Musique" in February 2015, where she won several awards for Best Female Artist, Best Music Video, and Best Song Writer.


Conchita Wurst & Dana international – Waterloo (Live @ Eurovision’s Greatest Hits Concert) The Eurovision Song Contest celebrated in April 2015 its 60th anniversary with a special concert at London's Eventim Apollo Hammersmith. Presented by hosts Graham Norton and Eurovision 2013 presenter Petra Mede, several artists from the past editions of the contest sang their songs. To close this event, Israeli transgender Dana International (winner in 1998 with "Diva") and Austrian bearded drag queen Conchita Wurst (winner in 2014 with "Rise Like a Phoenix") made a duo on ABBA's "Waterloo" : one of the gayest moment of the year.


Erlend Bratland - Thunderstruck (Live @ Melodi Grand Prix 2015, Gold final)
In March 2015, Erlend Bratland took part in the Melodi Grand Prix 2015, the Norwegian national selections to Eurovision Song Contest. The openly gay contestant went to the Gold Final and made an amazing performance, that allowed him to finish second in the competition. Well done Erlend !


Fun Home Musical (on Broadway) "Fun Home" is the first Broadway musical with a lesbian protagonist. Adapted from Alison Bechdel's 2006 graphic memoir of the same name, it tells the story of Bechdel's relationship with her gay father and her attempts to unlock the mysteries surrounding his life. The original Broadway production was nominated for ten Tony Awards, winning five including Best Musical. The show's cast album has been nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.


Jamie Lambert - Again (Live @ Hippodrome on September 18th, 2015) Openly gay member of British boy band Collabro, Jamie participated in September 2015 at a concert of Scott Allan. He sang "Again", one the song of the artist, but he changed the lyrics a little bit He switched the words to be sung towards a man, which is the first time it’s ever been done for this particular song. The result is a splendid interpretation of a gay love song, full of emotions.


Jeremy Jordan - It’s All Coming Back To Me Now (Live @ Broadway Loves Celine Dion on January 9th, 2015) Jeremy Jordan is an American actor and singer, best known for his lead roles in musicals on Broadway or in TV Show "Smash". For a special concert "Broadway Loves Celine Dion" on January 2015 in Feinstein's/54 Below in New York, he made an amazing performance of "It's All Coming Back To Me Now", full of emotion, humour and even a little gay twist. Just ... fantastic.


Madonna - Rebel Heart Tour 2015 The gay icon released this year her 13rd studio album "Rebel heart" and (650.000 copies sold worldwide) and made the "Rebel heart Tour" to promote it. At the end of 2015, the tour placed at number 11 on Pollstar's "2015 Year-End Top 100 Worldwide Tours" list. The big event during the show is of course the moment when she invites a guest on stage while she sings "Unapologetic Bitch". And finally, in August 2015, she made a really queer presentation of the MTV Music Awards 2015, especially with her performance of “Dooo It!” with 30 drag queens on stage !


Monika Linkytė and Vaidas Baumila - This Time (Eurovision Song Contest 2015) "This Time" was the Lithuanian song of the Eurovision Song Contest on May 2015. And it took everybody by surprise. First of all because a gay couple kiss in the music video of the duo, but even more when same-sex kisses were released on stage during the live performance by the choristes ! Unexpected from an ex-USSR country. A sign of change of mentalities ? Or a response to the polemic caused by the Lithuanian hist in 2014 who said it was time to shave while giving points to Conchita Wurst's act ? Probably both. The audience loved it, but not Russian politicians. The act came 7th in semi-final and 18th in final.


Sam Smith - Lay Me Down (Live at The BRIT Awards 2015) Sam Smith is a 23 years old British openly gay singer who made his coming out last year. His first album "In the Lonely Hour" is a huge success, with 8,5 millions copies sold worldwide. In 2015, he won 4 Grammy Awards, 2 Brit Awards, and a Golden Globe in the beginning of 2016. He became since last year the LGBT artist most mediatized in gay medias worldwide. Everything he says or does (his love relationships, his opinion about LGBT rights, his pictures on Instagram, his lose of weight, his musical actuality like with his music video "Lay Me Down" about marriage equality, or his second collaboration with Disclosure with the single "Omen", or his James Bond’s song for "Spectre", a premiere for a gay artist in this franchise) is reported from Europe to Russia, from the USA to China. This live performance of was realised at The Brit Awards 2015, in February, where he won the Awards for "Lay Me Down" Best British Breakthrough Act and BRITs Global Success.


The ESC Vienna All Stars - Building Bridges (Eurovision Song Contest 2015) The 2015 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest took place in Vienna, Austria, after the victory of Conchita Wurst in 2014. Mirjam Weichselbraun, Alice Tumler, Arabella Kiesbauer and Conchita Wurst were the hosts of the 60th contest, and they performed one of the most memorable opening act for the final on May 23rd.

Calogero - J'ai le droit aussi Calogero is a famous French composer and singer. In his latest album "Les Feux d’artifice", there are two engaged songs, with lyrics written by his wife Marie Baptiste. The first one, "Un jour au même endroit", talks about the murder of two teens and won the prize "Song of the year 2015" in France at Les Victoires de la musique. The second one, "J’ai le droit aussi", which means "I have the right too", is a about homosexuality, where a man claims in a context of homophobia that he has also the right to love. The music video shows a gay teen in the closet who dreams to be openly in love in front of his family and friends with the young man he secretly loves. The music video has 1 million views and 9.000 likes on YouTube at the end of the year 2015.


Francisca Valenzuela – Insulto Taken from the album "Tajo Abierto", this Chilean song is about self acceptance, and tells that even if people insult you, you must accept yourself for who you are, even if you are different from the others. The music video shows the complicated love story of two girls, when it's time to show their couple to all their friends, who don't necessary accept the situation. The music video has 530.000 views and 9.000 likes at the end of the year 2015.

Greg Holden - Boys In The Street Greg Holden is a British singer and songwriter based in New York. "Boys In The Street" is taken from his third album "Chase The Sun". The heartbreaking lyrics talk about a father who doesn't accept his gay son and always ask him to stop kissing boys in the street. But he finally changes his mind when he gets older. The music video has 1,4 million views and 12.000 likes on YouTube at the end of the year 2015.


Jack O'Rourke - Silence Jack O'Rourke is an Irish singer and songwriter. "Silence" is taken from his debut EP "The Other Side of Now". The artist composed this song to support the YES position in the Irish referendum for marriage equality which took place one month after the released of this video (by the way, the YES won !). The lyrics talk about the difficulties to grow up as homosexual when homophobia exists around you. The music video has 17.000 views and 320 likes on YouTube at the end of the year 2015.


Jeffery Self & Jake Wilson - Sad Studs PSA This parody of Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" was directed by Director Jake Wilson, with the help of Jeffery Self, Drew Droege, Matthew Risch, and a cast of sexy studs, to shake up the FDA's ban on blood donations from gay men, who can donate their blood only if they haven't gay sex in the past 12 months. The music video has 250.000 views and 4.000 likes at the end of the year 2015.


Panthyr - Desirable This is the first single of Jamie Treadwell, an American queer artist formerly known as James Panther. The lyrics critic the quest of body's perfection conveyed by medias, which at first can be toxic with your relationship with yourself, and which at second can exclude those who don't or can't reach this ideal, unfortunately present in the LGBTQ communities because of the medias, but also toxic with your own. The music video has 6.900 views and 120 likes on YouTube at the end of the year 2015.


Lady Gaga - Til It Happens to You Her engeged music video depicts sexual assaults on several college women and a trans men. A portion of sales from the song will benefit organizations which aid survivors of campus sexual assault. The music video has 23,5 millions views and 380.000 likes on YouTube at the end of the year 2015.


Mafaka - #377Teri The Mumbai based acoustic funk rock dua denounces section 377 in India which criminalizes homosexuality. The music video has 3.500 views and 90 likes at the en of the year on YouTube.


Parson James - Sinner Like You Parson James is a American singer. His debut career is already successful with the collaboration with Kigo for the clubs song "Stole the show" which was a huge hit in Europe. He also made a collaboration for another track for the club with Audien for the clubs single "Insomnia". "Sinner Like You" is his debut single in solo, and has been already noticed in the Gay Music Chart, even if it hasn't any music video. That's because of its powerful lyrics : it talks about a man who makes his coming out to his parents. It has 110.000 views and 1.800 likes on YouTube at the end of the year 2015.


Rachel Potter - Jesus and Jezebel Rachel Lindsey Potter is an American actress, country singer, and songwriter. She was a contestant of the third season of X-Factor in 2013. In this single, taken from her debut solo record "Not So Black and White", she defends homosexuality, while marriage equality wasn't legal yet in the United States (it was legal only one month and a half after the release of this music video). She tells the story of a young man called Jack, who discovers he's gay and in love with Adam, which case him spiritual problems because of his Christian faith. Her conclusion is clear : Jesus still loves him despite his sexual orientation. It's a Christian positive song, and the cute music video matches perfectly with the lyrics. It has 20.000 views and 600 likes on Youtube at the end of the year 2015.


Show Lo羅志祥 - Let Go夠了 The famous Taiwanese singer, also know as the "Asian Dancing King", sings against cyberbullying. The music video shows three types of victims most vulnerable of bullying : women, gays, and obese people. The music video has 4,2 millions views and 24.800 likes on YouTube at the end of the year 2015.


Will Young - Brave Man Will Young is a famous British gay singer.Taken from the album « 85 % Proof », the fourth official single shows in its stunning music video a young transgender who prefers to be naked and faces shame and hostility by strangers in the streets than don’t be who he really is. The lyrics perfectly match with the music video. Massively mediatized in British medias, but also in the world, it revived the debate about transgenders rights in The United Kingdom. It has 300.000 views and almost 3.500 likes on YouTube at the end of the year 2015.

"Ghost Town" is the lead single of this album, and was a hit in Europe, Oceania, but less in North America. It also spent the most of weeks in our Gay Music Chart, often in the Top 5. The music video has 50 millions views and 400.000 likes at the end of the year 2015 on YouTube.


Christine and The Queens - Christine Christine is a French queer artist, who won several awards in France in 2015 for Best Female Artist, Best Music Video, and Best Song Writer. She released at the end of the year 2014 her first album "Chaleur humaine", which had a huge success in France and Belgium where it reached number 1. She's actually promoted her US version of her album, with TV appearances (like in the Daily Show), concerts, and collaboration with queer artist Perfume Genius for the single "Jonathan". "Christine" is the most successful single taken from this album. It reached number 1 in Belgium and number 3 in France. The choreographed music video, where some people compare her to Michael Jackson for her moves, has 20,5 millions views and 73.000 likes on YouTube at the end of the year 2015.


Conchita Wurst - Heroes Conchita Wurst is one of the most famous drag queen in the world, since her victory at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with the mythic song "Rise Like a Phoenix". With her victory, the Austrian bearded drag queen won also a large mediatization and a strong fan base worldwide. She became an icon : even Miss Austria dressed like her in her national costume at Miss Universe 2015 ! She performed worldwide, met famous people like Ban Ki-moon to talk about LGBT rights, won three awards in her country, released her first album "Conchita" which became platinum in Austria, released a biography... What a year ! "Heroes" is her second single taken from her first album "Conchita". Courtney Barnett - Pedestrian At Best Courtney Barnett is an Australian openly lesbian singer from Melbourne. She was nominated in eight categories at the ARIA Music Awards of 2015, and won four trophies: Breakthrough Artist, Best Female Artist, Best Independent Release and Best Cover Art for her first album "Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit". This album reached number 4 in Australia and number 20 in the US. "Pedestrian At Best" is a rock single taken from this album. The music video has 2,5 millions views and 17.000 likes at the end of the year 2015 on YouTube.


Hayley Kiyoko - Girls Like Girls Hayley Kiyoko is a Japanese-American actress, singer and songwriter. "Girls Like Girls" is a lesbian love song, taken from her second EP "This Side of Paradise". The music video, which shows a teenage lesbian love story, has been viewed more than 21,3 millions times at the end of the year : it is the second lesbian music video most viewed in 2015, behind "Supergirl" by Anna Aklab. But with 461.000 likes (more than the double for "Supergirl"), this is the lesbian music video most appreciate this year.

It took a long time to the openly gay independent artist to release his fourth single "Time" and his first album "All American Boy", but the mediatization was huge worldwide in gay medias, and the success important for an independent artist, with 10.000 copies sold, a 47th position in Billboard 200 albums chart, and a third position in Billboard US Independent Albums Chart. The music video shows a gay love story from the meeting to the break-up. It has 870.000 views and 20.000 likes at the end of the year 2015. 


Tooji - Father
Tooji is a Norwegian singer, who represented his country at Eurovision Song Contest 2012. We knew already he was gay at this time, but he made a second coming out this year, and this time, it was mediatized worldwide in gay medias, with this scandalous music video which shows Tooji making love with a priest in a Church in front of people. Sex sells ! And it was one the music videos which spend the most of time this year in the gay Music Chart. The music video has 1 million views and 11.000 likes at the end of the year 2015. That’s why he used the same recipe for his next single "Say Yeah".


Troye Sivan - Wild (Blue Neighbourhood Trilogy – Part 1) Troye Sivan is a 20 years old famous YouTuber, actor and singer. After the success of his single "Happy Little Pill" last year, the openly gay Australian released in 2015 his first album "Blue Neighbourhood". To promote his album, he released at first the "Wild" EP, and a "Blue Neighbourhood" trilogy of music videos which tell the complicated love story of two young men who must face homophobia. "Wild" (Blue Neighbourhood Trilogy Part 1/3) shows the childhood of the two lovers, "Fools" (Blue Neighbourhood Trilogy Part 2/3) shows the breakup of the young couple because of the homophobic father of one of them, and "Talk Me Down" (Blue Neighbourhood Trilogy Part 3/3) shows their future after the death of one of the characters of the trilogy. The mediatization in gay medias of his music videos was worldwide. With no doubt, Troye Sivan is one of the new rising artist of the year. All three music videos together have 26 millions of views and 840.000 likes at the end of the year 2015. "Wild" has 11,4 millions views and 340.000 likes on his own.


Years & Years – King Years and Years is a British band composed by openly gay singer, and musicians Emre Turkmen and Michael Goldsworthy. The huge success of their single "King" (number 1 in UK and in the top 10 of several countries in the world) and their first album "Communion" (number 1 in UK and in the top 10 in several European and oceanian countries) made the lead singer a gay icon, with gay medias in the world report his private life (especially his love relationship with Clean Bandit's violinist Neil Milan Amin-Smith from October 2014 to October 2015) and his opinions (he supported the Yes side of the Irish gay marriage referendum). "King" has 122 millions views and 580.000 likes on YouTube at the end of the year 2015.
