It's time for a new generation to take our place ...

It's time for a new generation to take our place and promote LGBTQ+ music and artists.

Last September 2018, we were frustated because we were forced to stop this channel because of problems of copyrights, due to YouTube who began to be more strict about copyrights, probably because they prepared the changes due to the article 13 of the EU's Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market. We leaved at this time the net without solution of new relays.

Then, in January 2019, we made our comeback and new videos because YouTube proposed some easy features to mute the sound of parts of videos. But now, the reclamations of copyright are harder to fix, because copyright's owners also claim now the videos. In this case, it's impossible to fix it easily on YouTube. We must redo the videos, but it makes between 3 and 7 hours more time to do it. With these new conditions, we have to make a new big decision.

Because of problems of copyright which are harder to fix than a month ago, and because we don't have actually the time to make the chart and our work in real life properly (we really need more time for our students who are more and more likely to have academic difficulties), we think it's time now for us to pass the relay to a new generation of LGBTQ+ charters we presented to you these last weeks:

The purpose when we created this channel in 2013 was to illustrate mentalities's progress about LGBTQ+ issues, like a weekly page of musical history. At this time, only 13 countries made same-sex marriages legal. It has almost double since. And the results are more than hoped, because this channel has build a small but strong community of people passionnate by music, who saw this LGBTQ+ theme as a reflect of all the actual changes in our global society, interested by LGBTQ+ artists and foreign LGBTQ+ cultures. And in 6 years, we only moderated 36 homophobic comments, that's cool.

We leave. But this time, we are not (too much) frustrated because we know that the seeds have been planted to see emerging new LGBTQ+ charters. We will probably sometimes post a few videos or playlists per year, when we will have time and desire to do it.

We want to thank all of you who send to us sweet messages of encouragements, their votes, their passions. This channel wouldn't exist without you.

Now, we pass the relay.

A page is turning. Thank you all for these six fantastic years. We wish you good luck to all of you.

LOVE IS LOVE
