Gay Music Chart - 2015 week 16

Dear subscribers, sorry for the late this week. We continue to improve the way we carry out the ranking of the Gay Music Chart, in order to be as impartial as possible. We were unhappy with the introduction of the ranking of the jury, which ultimately gave us too much influence for the choice of number 1, even if its purpose to reframe the votes of fans was satisfactory. So, after réfllexions, we create this week a third intermediate ranking based on the number of views on YouTube, to make the most impartial ranking as possible. The three intermediate classifications are of course available in the comment section. Please tell us what you think.

You can vote for many videos as you want. It could be recent or past music videos. Your first vote will represent 10 points, your second vote will represent 9 points, your third vote 8 points, your fourth vote 7 points, your fifth vote 6 points, your sixth vote 5 points, your seventh vote 4 points, your eighth vote 3 points, your ninth vote 2 points, your tenth vote and following 1 point. This will create the public ranking.

It will be mixed with our own jury ranking, mostly represented by new music videos from recent musical actuality (less than a month older), and with a third ranking with the number of views on YouTube for videos nominated by the votes and presence in top 30 singles from countries in the world, with a bonus as much as there are media coverage in LGBT media.

This will make the Gay Music Chart. In case of equality, the number of votes and the dates of votes will count. Both rankings are published in the comments section.

Your votes must provide at least one among the following conditions:
- the music video has LGBTQA related content, in the lyrics or the music video
- the artist is LGBTQ, an LGBTQA icon or eventually ally
- LGBTQA medias talked about it.

Please notice that we will not accept more than 3 votes for the same artists, even it’s different songs, per week.

The votes will close on Thursday, 8 PM, european time
