01 (+ 10) : Toya Delazy - Why Hate (LW: 11 / WO: 2 / PEAK: 01 (x1))

Toya Delazy is a South African openly lesbian singer. Her song « Why Hate » is an odd to equality and tolerance, including for LGBT people. A gay couple is showed in the music video.

02 (+ 11) : Halsey - New Americana (LW: 13 / WO: 7 / PEAK: 01 (x1))

In this music video, Halsey plays a young rebel in a distopian world.

03 (+ 6) : Bloc Party - The Love Within (LW: 09 / WO: 8 / PEAK: 02)

Kele Okereke is the openly gay lead singer of the British band.

04 (NEW) : Brothers Osborne - Stay A Little Longer (LW: - / WO: 1 / PEAK: 04)

Country music duo brothers Osborne salutes gay, interracial and older couples in their music video.

05 (- 3) : Rolemodel - Teen Idol (LW: 02 / WO: 3 / PEAK: 02)

Rolemodel is a canadian band.

06 (NEW) : Various Artist - Generasi Tanpa Hati (LW: - / WO: 1 / PEAK: 06)

This Indonesian son gis talking about tolerance. The music video shows several people who are jugded and discriminated by others because they are different, including a gay man.

07 (+ 17) : John Grant - Down Here (LW: 24 / WO: 4 / PEAK: 07)

Second single taken from the album « Grey Tickles, Black Pressure », the music video tells the story of a young man who dares to join the synchronized swimming female team ... and finds perhaps love whith another young man like him.

08 (+ 7) : Lady Gaga - Til It Happens To You (LW: 15 / WO: 8 / PEAK: 04)

Her engaged new music video depicts sexual assaults on several college women and a trans men. A portion of sales from the song will benefit organizations which aid survivors of campus sexual assault.

09 (NEW) : Rayhon and Lola Yuldasheva - Konikmadim | Райхон ва Лола – Куникмадим (LW: - / WO: 1 / PEAK: 09)

Both Uzbek singers won awards in the past for best singer in their country. But this music video of the duet faced further criticism by some Uzbeks for having lesbian overtones. This controversy led to the suspension of Lola's license by Uzbeknavo on 14 July 2015.

10 (- 2) : Steve Grand - All I Want For Christmas Is You (LW: 08 / WO: 2 / PEAK: 08)

Steve Grand isn’t the first to make a Christmas song the year, and even not the first this year to make a cover of this Mariah Carey’s classic. But his romantic music video had a large mediatization worldwide, and had already almost a half million views on Youtube.

11 (- 10) : XIROW - Surround the Echo (LW: 01 / WO: 3 / PEAK: 01 (x1))

This German band made a song against homophobia. 50 % of sales will be donated to Action against homophobia. The music video shows a young gay couple who must confront homophobia.

12 (RE-ENTRY) : Sam Gleaves - Ain't We Brothers (LW: - / WO: 4 / PEAK: 12)

This song is based on the story of West Virginia coal miner Sam Hall who stood up against discrimination he faced in the mines as a gay man.

13 (NEW) : Mariette - My Revolution (LW: - / WO: 1 / PEAK: 13)

This was the official song of the Stockholm Pride 2015.

14 (RE-ENTRY) : Sister Crayon – Providence (LW: - / WO: 2 / PEAK: 14)

This music video protrays real families and real struggles of lower class areas from Oakland and Sacramento, in California, including lesbian mothers raisng a teenage son.

15 (- 9) : Will Young - Brave Man (LW: 06 / WO: 10 / PEAK: 03)

Taken from the album « 85 % Proof », the fourth official single shows in its music video a young transgender who prefers to be naked than don’t be who he really is. Stunning.

16 (NEW) : Mashrou' Leila - Bint elKhandaq (LW: - / WO: 1 / PEAK: 16)

Mashrou' Leila is a famous Lebanese band in Middle East, with openly gay lead singer Hamed Sinno. This single is taken from the album « Ibn El Leil ».

17 (RE-ENTRY) : Brandi Carlile - Mainstream Kid (LW: - / WO: 5 / PEAK: 17)

This is taken from the album « The Firewatcher’s daughter ».

18 (NEW) : HUSH – King of Doubt (LW: - / WO: 1 / PEAK: 18)

This is the new music video of the taiwanese gay singer.

19 (- 15) : Natasha Kmeto - I Thought You Had A Boyfriend (LW: 4  / WO: 4 / PEAK: 04)

This is taken from the album « Inevitable ».

20 (RE-ENTRY) : Tom Goss feat. Matt Alber - Breath and Sound (LW: - / WO: 18 / PEAK: 02)

This unespected but successful collaboration between the two gay artists has a music video which shows three couples dancing : one straight, one lesbian, and one gay.

21 (RE-ENTRY) : Phi Phi O'Hara - Naughty or Nice (LW: -  / WO: 2 / PEAK: 19)

Guess what ? It’s another single taken from the « Christmas Queens » album, with drag queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

22 (NEW) : The Golden Bomber - Shin da tsuma ni nite iru / ゴールデンボンバー - 死　ん　だ　妻　に　似　て　い　る (LW: - / WO: 1 / PEAK: 22)

This is anoher crazy MV for the famous Japanese band. In this one, the lead singer marries a beautiful woman, but then, she changes her face as the one of a man.

This is a cover of a Judy Garland’s song.

This is the new music video of the gay rapper.

This is the first single taken from the album « Wonderful Crazy Night », to be released on 5 February 2016.

Women in this French sog claim their love for gay men. Lot of kisses, cudles and underwears.

This Russian song has finaly a music video.

31 (- 17) : Erik Rapp - Louder - Idol Sverige (TV4) (LW: 14 / WO: 2 / PEAK: 14)

Erik Rapp is a 19 years old singer, who made his coming out two years ago, after representing Sweden in The Junior Eurovision Song Contest Junior 2011 and participate at Idol Sverige in 2013. He presented his new single on the set of Idol Sverige 2015.

This 10 minutes MV of David Bowie is the lead single from his upcoming eponym album, to be released on 8 January 2016.

33 (- 16) : Titica - Zongá (LW: 17 / WO: 2 / PEAK: 17)

Titica is a famous transgender singer in Angola. If she has a lot of success with  a local form of rap-techno music called "kuduro", this track is more down-tempo. In the music video, she have suspicions of cheating about her boyfriend.

34 (- 4) : Adam Lambert - Another Lonely Night (LW: 30 / WO: 12 / PEAK : 01 (x1))

This is the biggest drop of the week.

This is the lead single from her new lbum « This is Acting ».

Second track taken from the album « Interstellaire », the music video shows Mylène grimes in a lonely creature who’s searching someone to love.

38 (NEW) : Ricky Dillon & Trevor Moran – Steal The Show (LW: - / WO: 1 / PEAK: 38)

The two YouTubers, ancient members of Our2ndLife, make a musical collaboration. The track is taken from the album « Gold » from Ricky Dillon.

39 (- 36) : Wai Rejected - Take Me Now (LW: 03 / WO: 2 / PEAK: 03)

This Indonesian music video has an unexpected gay twist. Really rare in this part of the world.

40 (- 28) : Fedez & Mika - Beautiful Disaster (LW: 40 / WO: 3 / PEAK: 12)

This is a new collaboration between the openly gay singer and the Italian rapper.

1 ) You can vote for many videos as you want under the videos on YouTube in the comment section. It could be recent or past music videos, which must provide at least one among the following conditions:

- the music video has LGBTQA related content, in the lyrics or the music video

- the artist is LGBTQA, an LGBTQA icon or eventually ally

- LGBTQA medias talked about it.

2 ) You can’t vote more than 3 songs of a same artist per week.

3 ) In case of an artist who receive votes mostly by a fan base, we will count only one song, in a limited time of 10 weeks of presence in the top. 

4 ) You can vote with only one account.

5 ) If you make less than 20 votes, your first vote will represent 10 points, your second vote 9 points, etc… until your tenth vote and following 1 point. If you make 20 votes or more, your first vote will represent 40 points, your second vote 39 points, etc… until your fortieth vote and following 1 point.

6 ) People who make less than 10 votes form the amateur ranking, those who make 10 to 19 votes form the fan ranking, those who make 20 votes or more form the expert ranking. We form the jury ranking. The Gay Music Chart is the addition of the four charts. In case of equality, the number of votes and the dates of votes will count. All rankings are published in the comments section.
