In this music video, Halsey plays a young rebel in a distopian world.

04 (NEW) : Yoav Arnon & Shay Rokach feat. Amir F. Guttman - Things Can Only Get Better (LW: - / WO: 1 / PEAK: 04)

This is the official Pride anthem 2015 of Tel Aviv. This is a cover of the Irish Band of the 90’s « D:REAM ». In this message of hope in the future, we see several LGBTQ people in the music video.

05 (NEW) : 6 Pack Band - Hum Hain Happy (LW: - / WO: 1 / PEAK: 05)

This is the first transgender music band, with six transgender singers hailing from India’s ‘Hijra’ community. Their first single “Hum Hai Happy” is a hindi-remix version of Pharrell Williams’s song ’Happy’.

06 (=) : Various Artist - Generasi Tanpa Hati (LW: 06 / WO: 2 / PEAK: 06)

This Indonesian son gis talking about tolerance. The music video shows several people who are jugded and discriminated by others because they are different, including a gay man.

07 (- 4) : Bloc Party - The Love Within (LW: 03 / WO: 9 / PEAK: 02)

Kele Okereke is the openly gay lead singer of the British band.

08 (NEW) : Holly Johnson - Follow Your Heart (LW: - / WO: 1 / PEAK: 08)

The single is taken from the album "Club Europa". The music video shows a dance competition with an unexpected gay twist when a female dancer hut herself.

09 (+ 23) : David Bowie – Blackstar (LW: 32 / WO: 4 / PEAK: 09)

This 10 minutes MV of David Bowie is the lead single from his eponym album.

10 (- 2) : Lady Gaga - Til It Happens To You (LW: 08 / WO: 9 / PEAK: 04)

Her engeged new music video depicts sexual assaults on several college women and a trans men. A portion of sales from the song will benefit organizations which aid survivors of campus sexual assault.

11 (+ 1) : Sam Gleaves - Ain't We Brothers (LW: 12 / WO: 5 / PEAK: 11)

This song is based on the story of West Virginia coal miner Sam Hall who stood up against discrimination he faced in the mines as a gay man.

12 (NEW) : Hampus Carlsson - Flera Meter Under Marken (LW: - / WO: 1 / PEAK: 12)

This sweet music shows a young man (probably gay) remembering his best girl friend who helped him against intolerance at school.

13 (- 2) : Will Young - Brave Man (LW: 15 / WO: 11 / PEAK: 03)

Taken from the album « 85 % Proof », the fourth official single shows in its music video a young transgender who prefers to be naked than don’t be who he really is. Stunning.

14 (NEW) : Lady Bunny - You're A Mean One, Mr. Trump (LW: - / WO: 1 / PEAK: 14)

The drag queen says all she thinks about Donald Trump.

15 (+ 24) : Wai Rejected - Take Me Now (LW: 39 / WO: 3 / PEAK: 03)

This Indonesian music video has an unexpected gay twist. Really rare in this part of the world.

16 (+ 10) : ARISA - My Life - 5 Years / ARISA חיים שלי | חמש שנים לאריסה 1.1 (LW: 26 / WO: 2 / PEAK: 16)

In his new lipsync music video, the Israeli drag queen is pregnant !

17 (- 1) : Mashrou' Leila - Bint elKhandaq (LW: 16 / WO: 2 / PEAK: 16)

Mashrou' Leila is a famous Lebanese band in Middle East, with openly gay lead singer Hamed Sinno. This single is taken from the album « Ibn El Leil ».

18 (NEW) : Les funambules - L'aveu (LW: - / WO: 1 / PEAK: 18)

After "Une fille à pédé", this is the new song of the French collective. The title of this song means "The Confession". The lyrics talk about a man who just want to live a normal live and in couple with the man he loves. The music video shows a choreography with two men.

This is the biggest drop of the week.

This original song is taken from the album "Angel City".

21 (NEW) : Erik Hassle - Natural Born Lovers (LW: - / WO: 1 / PEAK: 21)

There are several couples making love in a motel, including a gay couple, in this Swedish music video.

22 (RE-ENTRY) : Javi Moreno - No más lágrimas (LW: - / WO: 3 / PEAK: 15)

This is the first single from the bear singer from Barcelona. His music video tells the story of a gay bear couple which must confront jalousy.

23 (- 12) : XIROW - Surround the Echo (LW: 11 / WO: 4 / PEAK: 01 (x1))

This German band made a song against homophobia. 50 % of sales will be donated to Action against homophobia. The music video shows a young gay couple who must confront homophobia.

24 (- 4) : Tom Goss feat. Matt Alber - Breath and Sound (LW: 20 / WO: 19 / PEAK: 02)

This unespected but successful collaboration between the two gay artists has a music video which shows three couples dancing : one straight, one lesbian, and one gay.

25 (+ 2) : Adele - Hello (LW: 27 / WO: 9 / PEAK: 02)

Xavier Dolan directed the music video.

26 (- 5) : Phi Phi O'Hara - Naughty or Nice (LW: 21 / WO: 3 / PEAK: 19)

Guess what ? It’s another single taken from the « Christmas Queens » album, with drag queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

27 (NEW) : YANIS – Crave (LW: - / WO: 1 / PEAK: 27)

There are two women dancing naked on the beach in the latest music video of the French electro pop artist.

28 (RE-ENTRY) : MIKA - Je Chante (LW: - / WO: 2 / PEAK: 25)

This song is also used in a French advertisement for a train company.

29 (- 28) : Toya Delazy - Why Hate (LW: 01 / WO: 3 / PEAK: 01 (x1))

Toya Delazy is a South African openly lesbian singer. Her song « Why Hate » is an odd to equality and tolerance, including for LGBT people. A gay couple is showed in the music video.

This is taken from the album « Inevitable ».

Women in this French sog claim their love for gay men. Lot of kisses, cudles and underwears.

There are several kisses from different kind of couples in this Polish music video, including a lesbian one.

This is the lead single from her new lbum « This is Acting ».

Titica is a famous transgender singer in Angola. If she has a lot of success with  a local form of rap-techno music called "kuduro", this track is more down-tempo. In the music video, she have suspicions of cheating about her boyfriend.

Second single taken from the album « Grey Tickles, Black Pressure », the music video tells the story of a young man who dares to join the synchronized swimming female team ... and finds perhaps love whith another young man like him.

1 ) You can vote for many videos as you want under the videos on YouTube in the comment section. It could be recent or past music videos, which must provide at least one among the following conditions:

- the music video has LGBTQA related content, in the lyrics or the music video

- the artist is LGBTQA, an LGBTQA icon or eventually ally

- LGBTQA medias talked about it.

2 ) You can’t vote more than 3 songs of a same artist per week.

3 ) In case of an artist who receive votes mostly by a fan base, we will count only one song, in a limited time of 10 weeks of presence in the top. 

4 ) You can vote with only one account.

5 ) If you make less than 20 votes, your first vote will represent 10 points, your second vote 9 points, etc… until your tenth vote and following 1 point. If you make 20 votes or more, your first vote will represent 40 points, your second vote 39 points, etc… until your fortieth vote and following 1 point.

6 ) People who make less than 10 votes form the amateur ranking, those who make 10 to 19 votes form the fan ranking, those who make 20 votes or more form the expert ranking. We form the jury ranking. The Gay Music Chart is the addition of the four charts. In case of equality, the number of votes and the dates of votes will count. All rankings are published in the comments section.
